If a traveler is a citizen of a Visa Waiver Program participating country, it is required to acquire an Electronic System for Travel Authorization, or ESTA Visa. Essentially, it is an online version of the I-94 form. Hence, it is not really a visa. To acquire the visa, one must simply go online and fill out the ESTA Visa Application.
Canadian citizens can enter the United States under a separate visa waiver program without the need for ESTA.
With ESTA US Visas, travelers can explore the top 10 beautiful beaches in Los Angeles, not necessarily the tourist-heavy, popular beaches including Santa Monica Beach, along Los Angeles’ coastline.1. Venice Beach
- Sometimes, beauty is the combination of nature and people
- One thing in common with Venice, Italy, is an area with a canal
- Town residents have eccentric and unique character
- The sandy beach is just a backdrop for the interesting atmosphere filled with somewhat bizarre people
- Crowded on weekends with little parking space
2. El Matador Beach
- With that ESTA US Visa, a person can stroll romantically with their American lover
- Small coves along rocky edges
- Very scenic for couples, swimmers, body boarding, and bodysurfing
- Crowded during summer and beach is small
3. Malibu Beach
- Great for surfing and beach volleyball in Surf rider Beach
- For nature enthusiasts, there are various tide pools in the lagoon
- Not too sandy
4. Paradise Cove
- A private beach, so payment is required to enter
- Great for secluded beach experience
- There is a restaurant to satisfy the hungry appetite
5. Zuma Beach
- Los Angeles’ northernmost beach
- Colder ocean can be found here
- During winter, whales can be spotted
- Dolphins may be spotted during surfing
- Crowded during busy days
6. Manhattan Beach
- Another mix of nature and people
- Beautiful beachfront homes
- Great place to see the sunset
- Touristy
- Shooting location for many movie and TV beach scenes
7. Will Rogers State Park
- Great sandy view
- Clean and safe beach for swimmers
- Close to popular Santa Monica
- Not too crowded than beaches farther south
8. Abalone Cove in Palos Verdes
With ESTA US Visas, enjoy swimming and tide pools
Busy on weekends
A bit of a drive from the nearest freeway9. Leo Carrillo State Park
- Superb for cave enthusiasts
- Filled with tide pools and rock formations
- Not very crowded
10. Point Dume State Beach
- Small crowds
- Various sand dunes
- Great vantage points
