'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' mansion damaged in fire
A fire at a mansion featured on the television show “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” was damaged in a fire that left a Beverly Hills firefighter hurt.
The firefighter was injured Friday when a beam fell on his head as more than 100 firefighters attacked the flames at the $19-million home on Beverly Park Way, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott.
He was listed in stable condition.
The home was formerly owned by reality television star Lisa Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd.
According to KTLA News, they sold the 15,000-square-foot home for $19 million.
Although the blaze was in Los Angeles, firefighters from the Beverly Hills Fire Department aided in the effort, Scott said.
The fire was extinguished in about an hour, after burning through parts of the roof. The cause was still under investigation, Scott said.
