The American Association of Retired Persons (A.A.R.P.) in cooperation with the IRS will sponsor a free Tax-Aide service for all middle and low income taxpayers, with special attention to those 60 years and older. Administered by IRS trained and certified volunteer tax counselors, the Tax-Aide program will provide confidential assistance in preparing Federal and State tax forms, and answers to your tax questions.

The conference is designed to empower young women in grades 8 through 12 to take charge of their future in positive ways that influence and inspire others.

Meet at the corner of Pico and Prosser, West LA

Westside Neighborhood Council is hosting an outdoor community service event to beautify Pico Boulevard. Over 100 trees will be planted! WNCLA is looking for 100 volunteers to form 20 Tree Teams. Delicious food and beverages provided. Support from TreePeople and Los Angeles Conservation Corp for each Tree Team. Trees provided through Million Tree Program and contributions from JMB Realty.
