Volunteers needed from Sun, Dec 26 through Wed, Dec 29

The community-based Beverly Hills Rose Parade Committee is seeking volunteers to help decorate the City's first entry into the New Year's Day parade in more than 20 years. Helpers ages 12 and up are needed Dec. 26-29. Call (310) 385-0679 to volunteer. The float, themed "Beverly Hills -- City of Dreams Come True," will showcase the City before a television audience of more than 1 billion people!

Jolly Trolly with Mr & Mrs Claus

Sat & Sun, Dec 11 & 12, 18 & 19 - 11 am, noon, or 1 pm - Beverly Hills trolley tours (pick up is at the southeast corner of Rodeo Drive and Dayton Way)

The dynamic duo is back – Santa and Mrs. Claus return to Beverly Hills this year, making several appearances on the Beverly Hills Trolley and at The Paley Center for Media. Trolley tickets are $10/adult and $5/child (under 12).

Blake Edwards ~ 1922-2010

Hollywood Writer-Director Blake Edwards Dies at 88

Thu, 12/16/2010 - ABC News reports that Blake Edwards, the director of such film classics as Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Pink Panther, Days of Wine and Roses and Victor/Victoria, passed away Wednesday night at Saint Johns Hospital in Santa Monica from compications of pneumonia. His publicist reports that his wife, actress Julie Andrews, and other family members were at his side.
