Furniture and Accessories
As any reader of Dwell well knows, we can’t get enough of modern furniture. This year we’re very pleased to have manufacturer and seller Hold It Contemporary Home on the Dwell on Design show floor. The purveyor of all things domestic continues to push sensible, affordable modern design. But lest we exhibitionists stop there, a bevy of smaller, Southern California–based brands will rub elbows with their international counterparts as designers from around the world ply their wares.

Kitchen and Bath
Gleaming rows of low-flow toilets, bathtubs fit for royalty, and kitchen designs that make chopping as enjoyable as chomping are among the highlights this year. Kohler leads the pack with the latest in faucets and fixtures, all housed in a Marmol Radziner prefab. So whether it’s a midnight snack you crave, or just a quick duck into the loo, Dwell on Design has the products, systems, and tricks to make porcelain and tile your favorite surfaces in the house.
Dwell Outdoor
Dwell Outdoor Offers a lush landscape of planters prefabs, shrubs and sheds. With solar panels overhead, outdoor carpet underfoot, and patio furniture for resting weary feet, Dwell Outdoor explores exterior spaces with an eye toward greenery and green design for both experts and greenhorns.
Building Materials
Exhibitors and their goods at Dwell on Design run the gamut of building materials and systems. From the bright lights of design-forward Lutron to the rather cozier environs of a Napoleon fireplace, a wealth of building goods that make your house a home is amassed under our very high roof.
Energy and Resources
A vexing mix of paradisiacal coastal bluffs and haplessly paved-over desert, Southern California offers as many green problems as it does solutions. To get yourself on track and keep that meter running backward, our Energy and Resources exhibitors offer both state-of-the-art solar technology and the rather more humble green-thumb know-how of drought-resistant gardening.
Modern Family
Out with stegosaurus, in with Saarinen!
