It’s luxury with a capital L at this sure-to-be enclave for Tinseltown’s bold and beautiful. In the dining room, old-world opulence (travertine marble floors, Venetian chandeliers, custom leather chairs) is the decor du jour, while it’s all hands on deck on the teak poolside patio illuminated by yacht lanterns.
The menu sizzles with hearty Italian dishes, as well as lighter grilled fare. Kiss your carb-free diet arrivederci with the pasta e fagioli before diving fork-first into whole Dover sole with rucola.
A rosewood-paneled bar offers prime people-watching. But with Cipriani’s famously attentive servers heeding your every whim, there’s not a bad seat in the house.
