Matthew Perry Lists Modern Home for $5.295 Million
Matthew Perry is no stranger to the ins and outs of the real estate market. Just last year, the former “Friends” star bought a new Sunset Strip home, and in the meantime listed two properties: a condo in West Hollywood and a home in Malibu. He seems to be continuing his real estate dump, this time relisting his Hollywood Hills home.
Like many of his other properties, Perry’s Hollywood Hills home is uber modern. Walls of glass and indoor/outdoor living spaces give way to extensive views of the skyline below.
Built in 1955, the 4,100-square-foot home at 2415 Carmen Crest Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90068 has 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a home theater on a third of an acre lot. According to property records, Perry bought the home for $4.475 million in 2008, first listing the property for $5.695 million in October 2011. He took it off the market in early 2012, relisting it this month for $400,000 less.
As for Perry’s other properties, he sold the West Hollywood condo last year for a loss, and as of March 2012, the Malibu home is off the market, but property records don’t show a sale. Perry currently stars on a new NBC sitcom called “Go On.”
According to current mortgage rates, Perry’s Hollywood Hills home would have a monthly payment of $18,826, assuming a 20 percent down payment on a 30-year mortgage.
