Actor and writer Tyler Perry has sold his tricked-out home in the celebrity-coveted Bird Streets area of Hollywood Hills West for $11.25 million, public records show.

The impeccably decorated 9,725-square-foot contemporary-style house features a glass-floor catwalk that serves as the ceiling of the wine cellar, a window in the billiards room that looks into the water of the swimming pool, a nightclub/lounge with a bar and a disco ball, a gym, four fireplaces, four bedrooms, six bathrooms and a sauna. The site, which is more than a third of an acre, has expansive city light and mountain views.

Perry, 43, is known for his recurring role as a larger-than-life elderly woman named Madea. His Madea films include "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" (2005) and "Madea's Witness Protection" (2012). He created the series "House of Payne" (2006-12) and has done extensive work as a director and producer. Forbes estimated his net worth in November at $400 million.

He paid $9.6 million for the property in 2006.
