Winona Ryder sells in Hollywood Hills

Two-time Academy Award nominee Winona Ryder listed her 1936 Spanish villa (pictured above) in October 2010 for $4,095,000. After taking a 3.5 percent price cut, the 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom property found a buyer and sold for $3,725,000 in January, according to the Los Angeles Times. Ryder purchased the .32-acre piece of Hollywood real estate back in March 1998 for $2.6 million.
Clay Aiken Lists North Carolina Pad

Clay Aiken became a household name after rising to fame during the second season of FOX’s hit talent show, “American Idol.” Adding to his occupational plate as a singer, songwriter, actor, producer, and author, Aiken has become a seller. The Real Estalker reports that Aiken has listed his 9,392-sq ft North Carolina pad (pictured above) for $2,700,000. It appears that Aiken was contemplating moving from his home back in May 2010, when a Make Me Move® price of $3,500,000 appeared on his home on Zillow. Aiken bought this 1.3-acre piece of Durham real estate in 2003 for $2,300,000.
Judy Garland’s Former Home Finds New Buyers in No Time

Legendary actress and singer Judy Garland, best known for her role as Dorothy in the 1939 film “The Wizard of Oz,” once lived in a custom, Wallace Neff-designed home in the Los Angeles suburb of Bel Air. The Los Angeles Times reports that Garland’s former home (pictured above) was listed at the $5.5 million at the beginning of February 2011 and, after just a week on the market, entered into escrow with a selling price of of $5.2 million.
Oakland Raiders’ JaMarcus Russell in Foreclosure

While quarterback JaMarcus Russell was making plays on the football field, he apparently wasn’t making payments on his million-dollar mansion in Oakland, CA (pictured above). According to TMZ, Russell “allegedly failed to pay $195,512.05 in mortgage payments.” Ouch. In the midst of trying to settle his Oakland real estate mess, Russell is also looking for a job. He was released from the Raiders in May 2010 and is currently a free agent.
