A group of 85 members from a Chinese Real Estate delegation have been seeing the sights of Beverly Hills during their visit to the City today.
Just after 2:30 p.m., the group stopped by the Council Chamber to be welcomed to the City by Mayor Jimmy Delshad and to pose for photos.
The delegation is comprised of realtors, developers and investors who are executives with their respective companies.
Their trip was sponsored by Sohu.com, the most popular Chinese portal in Mainland China, which recently launched its Real Estate Channel to create a new area of online lifestyle.
Mayor Delshad talked about the City's international appeal to foreign investors.
He told the group the The Beverly Wilshire Hotel and the 9900 Wilshire development site, which was recently purchased to be converted into high-end residential condominiums, were owned by Chinese investors.
The delegation were headed to Rodeo Drive for the remainder of the afternoon.
